Lab grown ruby is a great way to get the most out of your low temp dab. Corundum has molecules that are denser than quartz, which means its better at holding heat. With terp pearls you can take larger dabs at lower temperatures to maximize flavor and minimize waste. The downfall to ruby(corundum) is that it doesn't handle thermal shock well, unlike quartz. So you wouldn't want your whole banger to be made of corundum.
